Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Only male citizens of Pakistan are eligible to apply.
  • Age RequirementsCivilians (Unmarried): Candidates applying for this post must attain the age of 16 ½ - 21 years as on 30th May 2025.
  • Service Candidates (Armed Forces Personnel in Uniform): 17 - 23 years, both married and unmarried may apply.

Minimum Height:

  • 5'4" (162.5 cm)

Educational Qualification:

Eligible candidates are those who have passed Matriculation and F.Sc or O/A level with at least 60% marks in one of the following subject combinations:

  • Physics, Maths and Chemistry
  • Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science
  • Physics, Maths, and Statistics

Additional Notes:

  1. Candidates from O/A Level need to provide an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC.
  2. F.Sc Part-II appearing candidates may also apply with a min of 65% marks in Part-I. They are required to submit a hope certificate from college/institute. A hopeful candidate who fails to obtain at least 60% marks in Intermediate, Part-II will be disqualified.
  3. Pre-medical Students: Eligible to apply if they complete the additional mathematics at the F.Sc or A-Level stage.
  4. He/She must have passed the F.Sc./HSSC/equivalent examination before 30th May 2025.
  5. Date of Registration: From 3rd November to 17th November 2024

1. Can married civilians apply to the PN Cadet program?

No, the candidates should be unmarried civilians between 16 ½ and 21 years. 

2. What if I fail to achieve 60% on the hope certificate basis for F.Sc Part-II? 

If a candidate fails to score 60% in final marks, his/her name would be removed from the selection list or sent home if already enlisted into training. 

3. Can O/A Level candidates apply?

Yes, O/A Level candidates can apply, but they have to provide the equivalence certificate from IBCC. 

4. Do pre-medical students have an option to join as PN Cadets? 

Yes, pre-medical students can apply on condition that they have completed additional mathematics in their F.Sc or A-Level studies.
