Registration and Preliminary Selection for Pak Army Jobs As Nurses

The online registration shall commence from July 2, 2024, to August 10, 2024. Registration can be made on any day, including weekends. Registration at joinpakarmy.gov.pk/course is to be made. The preliminary tests will be conducted from August 19, 2024, to September 12, 2024. The tests shall only Commence on weekdays and shall not include Saturdays, Sundays, or closed holidays. The tests shall comprise a written and intelligence test through multiple-choice questions from English, Maths, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge. When the candidates successfully pass these tests, they will proceed for physical and medical tests at the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) followed by interviews arranged at the same centers.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Only citizens of Pakistan and those having domicile in Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan need apply.
• Unless selected, the dual nationality candidates shall surrender their non-Pakistani nationality.

Age and Gender

• Only female candidates.
• Trained Nurses: 18-28 years on the 31st December,2024.
• BSc Nursing: 17-25 years as of December 31, 2024.

Qualification Requirements

BSc Nursing

• The candidate should have passed the FSc. Examination (Pre-Medical Group) with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates appearing in FSc Part-II exams with 50% marks in the 1st year may apply with a HOPE certificate from their college. Candidate must submit the marks sheet of Part-II immediately on declaration of result.

Trained Nurses

• The incumbent should at least possess a nursing 3-year diploma and midwifery 1-year course.
• Must be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
• Preference shall be given to those who have done specialized courses like ICU, OT, CCU, etc. in institutes recognized by PNC.

Conditions of Ineligibility

1. Candidates will not be considered eligible if they:
2. Are declared medically unfit by the Appeal Medical Board.
3. Have been discharged, resigned, or dropped from service academies of the Armed Forces for disciplinary, character, medical, or profile reasons.
4. Have been dismissed or removed from any other government service.
5. Are already registered with PNC for BSc Nursing.
6. Been convicted by any court for an offense involving moral turpitude.

What is the Selection Procedure for Pak Army Nurse Jobs?

Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS& RCS)

Online registration or visit the nearest AS&RCS. You can register online. For online registration, an email account is necessary to get a test date and time. Candidates have to report on the exact date and time for the preliminary test along with their computerized roll number slip. No changes will be allowed in the date of the test. The candidate should be conversant with basic computer operations as tests are conducted on computers.

Preliminary Selection

These will include written/intelligence tests, and physical/medical tests, along with personal interviews. Written/Intelligence test will include MCQs from English, Maths, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge. Only those candidates who qualify in written test will proceed for the physical and medical tests and interview at AS&RCS.

Final Selection

Interviews by the General Headquarters GHQ Selection Board shall be held at Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta. Successful candidates will receive call-up notices for interviews. Final selection will depend upon the overall performance.

Documents Required for Pak Army Jobs

The following documents should be submitted by the candidate at AS&RCS:

1. Original certificates/ documents/ mars sheets with two attested photocopies of each.
2. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned establishment in case of candidates in government service.
3. Attested domicile photocopy.
4. Photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card CNIC. 
5. 3 attested colored Photographs (front & back).
6. Crossed postal order of Rs. 100/- in favor of DGPA, GHQ Rawalpindi.
